Formspring 4/17

Orcs Must Die! is awesome! are you getting the sequel?

Heck yeah! I love Orcs Must Die!

The whole "Youtube fame" thing hasn't done much to change my life, honestly. I'm really not that famous. The only way it would change my life is if it somehow made me extra money, because then it would be much easier to pay my bills!

Thank you again! I plan to do many more streams in the future. The main reason why I haven't for a while is because I've been moving around a lot, and I haven't had a good area set up for my PC for a while now. That will be changing soon, though.

I do in most cases, especially when it has some sort of yummy fruity flavor. However, I've had some absolutely disgusting seltzer water in the past, usually ones with no flavor or a hint of lemon. BLEH!

Do you know of a anime and manga guy called Leji Matsumoto? If so, what do you like about his works?

I am familiar with him, but the only work of his that I've seen is Interstella 5555, which is one of my favorite movies. I've been meaning to check out Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999 for a long time, though. He has a neat style.

YEAH BACON! I loves me some bacon, but I don't like to eat a ton of it, since it's so fattening. I tend to eat more turkey bacon than pork bacon. I still love it whenever I do get to have some, though. Here's something I have that's related:

How did you go about getting ads on your blog? And do you actually make any money from them? (If so, how much?)

Blogspot has an option for it in the settings. I barely make anything from them at all, a few cents a day if I'm lucky.

If i sent you a link to my youtube do you think you could give me an honest opinion if my videos are good? I love video editing, but im not sure if im good... and i have yet to buy the full versian of the whole software and i need to know if its worth it

Stuff like that is worth as much as you're willing to put into it. It isn't something you're born good at, you have to practice until you learn the art behind it. If you know that video editing is an interest that you're going to hold on to, then it's definitely worth it to invest in such software, whether you're currently good or not.

Jonna im a fan i will ask you a Question if you can make a game what is the name of your game

I really have no idea. Names are something that I agonize over for ages, and it takes me a very long time to come up with them. If I ever do end up making a game, I'll get back to you on that. :P

Formspring 4/13

do you ever feel/care like your not as popular as any of kilplix's friends? your never in any fan art or videos related...

Oh, I know I'm not as popular as the others. I don't really mind, though. I'm very thankful for the fans that I do have.

Hows your lizard!Khai? (I forgot the name).

Kai is great! He's gotten pretty big, and I'll definitely be taking lots of new pictures and videos of him once I get my spiffy new camera in the next few days.

He's nice when he isn't being GRUMPY PANTS. Nah, he's a nice guy in general.

What is your view/opinion on tobacco related products?

I'm not a fan of tobacco of any kind, and after living with an indoor smoker, I'm even less fond of cigarettes. However, I don't mind if people choose to smoke or whatever else, though it does make me sad knowing that they're willingly doing harm to their bodies.

What would you do if your comp/pc wasn't working anymore and you had to wait a year for a brand new one?

That's such an unrealistic situation that it's hard to say. I guess... I'd just use my friends' computers, or get online at the LAN center I used to always hang out at.

AUSTIN IS KAWAAAAIIIIII DESU NE ^________________________^~

I've played a tiny bit. It's pretty fun, and I'm sure I'll play again.

Updated Art

We had an art show at my (now former) job a few weeks ago, and I updated a couple of my old drawings for it. I thought I'd post them here. I pretty much just painted in some quick backgrounds.

I really need to work on some new art. Once I find a good desk, I'll be ready to work on stuff again!

Formspring 4/7

Have you ever played Halo or even thought about playing?

I've never had interest in the single player campaigns, but I used to love playing multiplayer with a ton of people at my old youth group when I was in high school. We'd connect two Xboxes from across the houses and have deathmatches, it was awesome. Nowadays, I can't really see myself going back to console shooters.

I typically post announcements on Facebook, since more people seem to follow me there than anywhere else (besides Youtube).

Hehe, looks like I got the same question from two different people at the same time. :)

I was born in Florida, and I've lived here my entire life. Though, I have lived in a few different cities.

Formspring 4/6

Do you do zombie events on a regular basis (like the one coming up, Run For Your Life), or are they more like special events for you?

I haven't really done any zombie events like that, but it definitely sounds like something I'd like to check out eventually.

Sure, I'm up for doing something like that sometime in the future. I've tried setting up text chats a couple times, but they haven't worked out very well so far.

I play the ocarina! I have several of them already, and I'm always wanting to buy more. I haven't been able to practice very much for a while now, but I plan to pick it up again soon.

This is called Formspring. You can find the code for the embedded version on the website, www.formspring.me.

I have heard of....none of the above! Assuming those are people or things from Youtube, I don't really follow many Youtube people.

No, I can't really think of any certain names that I would classify as favorites. Since I don't plan on having kids, names aren't something that I think about very much.

I would definitely want to go to Japan. A few people that I know have been there or lived there, and it sounds like a blast. I know I would have an awesome time. I plan to take a trip there sooner or later.

Sure. We already have.

I used to be obsessed with Pokémon when I was a kid, but I haven't been super into it for a while now. The first generation is my absolute favorite, and I never get tired of replaying Blue. I really enjoyed Silver as well, but after that, my interest dropped for quite a while. I did play Ruby, but I ended up getting bored and didn't bother finishing it. I completely skipped Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, but I did decide to buy White. Though I've only played a little bit of it so far, I've been enjoying it, and I intend to play it all the way through.

Who knows! I haven't been playing many games lately.

It's been a very long time since I've played L4D, but the last time I played, it was with other people.

Jed and Cody don't really talk to me anymore. I will play with Austin again in the future, though.

No sir/madam, I am an American. I sure would love to go see some of the awesome wildlife that Australia has to offer, though!

Hometown Trip

I visited my home town about a month ago, and I figured I should document my visit with a little write-up before too much more time passes. I apologize if any of this is boring. I'm trying not to leave out anything that's important to me, so I can read back on this in the future and remember things I may possibly forget.

It had been a few years since I had spent any significant time in my home town, and I was very much due for a trip. I scheduled visits with several of my best friends from home, and I had a week full of fun and nostalgia with them.

Note: The timestamps on all of the photos are wrong. Just clearing that up now!

The one that I stayed with has been one of my best friends since I was in high school. It was really nice to spend some quality time with him again after not having much contact for the last few years. One of the first things he had me do when I arrived was sit down and play through the entirety of Octodad. At 2 in the morning. What a game...

Anyway, I also enjoyed hanging out with his girlfriend, who I've known for a few years and have gone to Disney with several times. I'm typically such a geeky tomboy, and I'm really not used to spending "girl time" doing girly stuff such as clothing shopping and dying hair, but it was fun for a change of pace. Here's a photo of us:
You may recognize her, she's been in a few of my Disney videos.
Those two and I ended up visiting a place that was very dear to me in my childhood. It's called Sugar Sand Park, and my mom brought me there many times as a kid. It's a park with a rather large wooden playground, which includes a fun water area and many scientific contraptions set up for children to play with while being educated! So of course, us three full-grown adults decided to run around amongst the children on this playground. That's just how we roll. I was very happy to go down the large slide that I used to be obsessed with as a kid. Here's a photo of one of the more memorable landmarks of this park:

Hello again, old friend.
And now for something completely different... I got drunk for the first time. Yep, I'm finally a teenager at age 23! One day, they invited a couple of our good friends over and we had a little party. Now, I hate the taste of alcohol and am not much of a drinker at all. I've only been tipsy a couple times. However, I figured I would try it just once, since I really trust these friends and I knew they would take care of me if anything went wrong. Sure enough, they took good care of me, because I ended up doing a poor job of pacing myself. I dozed off and ended up throwing up all over myself. I barely remember anything since I was so out of it, but my friends helped me into the bathroom and they washed my clothes for me. Although the experience wasn't super unpleasant or anything, I feel like I've had my fill of drinking, and I don't really care to do it ever again (mainly because of the flavor, YUUUCK).

I also went to the Boca Raton Museum of Art with them, which was really cool to me since I'm an artfag. They had some very awesome exhibits.

The last cool place I visited with them was the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. I've been there several times throughout my life, but it had been a long time since I last went, so I was very happy to go there again. We had a delicious lunch at the restaurant, and then we took a nice stroll around the gardens. We spotted some very cool things, such as this cute little baby boa in the water:

We also spotted a huge iguana swimming in the Koi pond, which was awesome. South Florida is overrun with iguanas, but Orlando doesn't have them, so I miss seeing them all over the place. One hilarious thing that we saw was an egret following two old ladies around! He looked like a little dog. Even when he would get scared off by other people getting close, he would end up finding his old ladies again and resume following them. Cutest thing ever.

Here's my friend and I at the Morikami:
He likes to call me his second girlfriend.
I drove by my childhood home to see how it looks now. My family hasn't owned it since I graduated from high school, and yet it still looks exactly the same. Oh how I miss it.

I saw a few of my other dear friends, and I had lovely visits with all of them. It was wonderful to catch up and spend quality time with them. I regret allowing so much time pass between visits. This trip was just what I needed, and I plan to visit my friends more often from now on.

Batch of Formspring questions!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, life's been busy busy! Here's a batch of all my Formspring questions since the last time I posted some. Afterwards, I'll post an update on the other stuff that's been going on.

Do you wish you didn't have to hear certain names so often, Jonna? :)

Oh, I don't mind at all.

I would probably make and eat a sandwich of some sort, then trim my toenails, and then go for an afternoon stroll. Oh, I guess I'd also play it at some point.

Nah, it doesn't bother me when people find me attractive. It's flattering!

I'm currently working on getting my store's website finished up. It will be ready very soon! I'll definitely post details when the time comes. :)

I like guys who are weirdo-nerds like me! :D

I'll let this video do the talking: Kilplix Visits Jonna

Keep on askin' the questions, and I'll keep answerin' them!
