Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

I managed to toss a costume together at the last moment. Here it is:

I was a Lemming! If you don't know what Lemmings are, Google it. It's an awesome game that's been around for a long time. My dress is too short to be exactly accurate, but I did the best I could with my limited time. If I ever decide to dress as a Lemming again, I'll be sure to sew an outfit that's perfectly accurate to their classic designs!

I wore this costume to a Halloween party on Saturday night, and I also wore it to work today. Since it's a gaming-related costume, I was allowed. :D It was fun! A few people recognized what I was, so I'm pleased.

After work, I went to my aunt's house and spent some time with my family. We gave out candy to the kids that were trick-or-treating. Then, we went to my grandma's and I watched Evil Dead with my parents. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing Halloween.

So, tell me! What did you folks do for Halloween?

  1. Nice outfit, I remember just playing the demo of that game for hours since it was so much fun. Since times are hard, we didn't give out candy for Halloween. I just put a sign up saying "sorry, no candy" and just watch Dawn of the Dead remake and The Walking Dead on AMC.

  2. Where I live Halloween isn't a huge affair, no trick-or-treating and very few Halloween parties were thrown around town but I celebrated by watching gameplay videos of scary games like Fatal Frame (Fatal Frame 2 is the creepiest for me ><''') and F.E.A.R and Condemned. =P

  3. I went to a party on Saturday. I didn't really dress up, but I did wear an Awesome Face T-shirt. And for Halloween I went to another party with my normal clothing and a big afro wig. I recently cut my hair which just happened to look like this wig I saw in a store. So as a tribute to my long hair I went as what I looked like two months ago. Everyone got a huge kick out of it. And people that hadn't seen me since I got my hair cut didn't even realize it until I took the wig off.

  5. Nice costume :) Well here in Luxembourg we don't really celebrate Halloween but my band came over to my place and we wrote a song. We also played lots of horror games like F.E.A.R, Amnesia, Call of Cthulhu and Penumbra. Good times.

  6. i went as an eskimo. but for some reason i saw no more than 20 people. and i went down atleast 30 blocks. Usually i'd see atleast 300 people in about 15 blocks.

  7. Nice costume, I spent the majority of halloween piecing together my Pyramid Head costume and I was pretty happy with the result. But since I'm from Minnesota, I couldn't go shirtless like he does (It was cold enough with 3 shirts on).
